Our Story
Bald Eagle Towing is a trusted flatbed towing and vehicle transport company in Naples, Florida, proudly serving Collier County and Southwest Florida with a commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Originally founded as Mike’s Towing on Marco Island, the company was purchased by Bud Gruber on September 1, 1994 and renamed Bald Eagle Towing. At the time, the operation consisted of just one tow truck. Shortly after, a second truck was added—a memorable Hino flatbed that marked the beginning of steady, intentional growth.
Over the years, Bald Eagle Towing expanded to a fleet of 19 tow trucks and 4 service trucks, earning a strong reputation for reliable towing services, clean equipment, and highly trained operators. As the company grew, operations were relocated to Naples, FL to better serve the region with improved access and convenience.
With experience came focus. Leadership made the strategic decision to scale back, recognizing that not every tow call is profitable and not every type of growth is sustainable. This approach allowed Bald Eagle Towing to prioritize quality, safety, and long-term service excellence over volume.
Like many businesses, the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing workforce shortages required further adjustments. Today, Bald Eagle Towing operates as a smaller, highly professional towing company, maintaining one of the strongest reputations for flatbed towing in Collier County.
In January 2025, Bald Eagle Towing entered its next chapter when it was acquired by Cardinal Legacy Towing Group, led by Kurtis Barks and Jeff Bauer—bringing additional leadership, training resources, and long-term stability while preserving Bald Eagle Towing’s local identity and high standards.
